When I open a csv file with French, Spanish etc town names, all the accents are shown as a black diamond with ? in the centre. I have tried using Unicode (UTF-8) French and also W Europe (Apple Macintosh) French. How can I import the words WITH the accents?
Think I’ve solved it myself.
Import Character Set: Western European (Windows-1252/WinLatin 1)
Certainly works with French. Will try others later.
