Hi,

I am looking for a way to begin paying developers to work on Libre Office to provide faster bug fixes and improved stabilization of Libre Office to benefit all Libre Office users.

One of the other things I am also willing to pay for currently is increasing the accuracy of spelling and grammar checkers natively in Libre Office in more than one language.

If this increasing gets done, we are willing to contribute further financially with other requested additions, bug fixes, stabilization and other things Libre Office needs to be completed; our wishes are to be a long-term sponsor of Libre Office Development. My business is delighted at the idea of sponsoring and paying developers to work on Libre Office.

We are very happy to pay for extra development hours with Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dash Digital Cash, Paypal, Bank Transfer or other methods.

The only thing we want in return is just a tiny written acknowledgement that we have sponsored the development efforts of Libre Office.

Could this potentially be done?

We will make it very worth Libre Office Developers time, this is because we are fed up with Microsoft Office. Therefore, we are willing to pay whatever the cost to be able to ditch Microsoft Office permanently.

Kind Regards,

Abigail

Great question - there are of course lots of developers that could in theory help out, but TDF tries to certify the best of them - you can see a list of those here: https://www.documentfoundation.org/ge... - to contact.

Of course - from my perspective, Collabora loves to partner with our customers to improve LibreOffice - E-mail me: michael.meeks@collabora.com, or libreoffice@collabora.com - I look forward to seeing what we can do together =)
