how do i get back miniatures icons instead of boring libre office icons?

Hello @Fozzie,

you can set the icon size to “Small” in the menu "Tools : Options... : - LibreOffice - View - User Interface - Toolbar icon size" ( , Sidebar icon size, Notebookbar icon size ).
