Multiple pages of labels

I need to create multiple pages of labels, all same size.
I can’t find out how to do this.
Advise very welcomed.

Thanks

Hello @ajonsson,

Please see this instructional page HOWTO - Print Labels using LibreOffice.

Thank you librebel,

I can’t see anything there that explains how to make multiple pages with the same size labels.
When you are in writer and just doing normal writing, when down at the bottom of the page you hit enter a new page is created. This should also be possible with the labels. At least it would make things so much easier

Try this instead of hitting ENTER at the bottom of the page, to click the menu "Insert : Page break" ( or press CTRL+ENTER ).

Note that (at least in version 3.5.4.2 (the version in Debian Wheezy)of LOW), to be able to enter a Page Break and select and then C&P the first page of labels to a new 2nd page, you must be in Web Layout (View ==> Web Layout) vs. Print Layout. I assume it is the same or similar in later versions of LOW.

I assume you are not using a database, as @librebel pointed to in his reply, as with this method all the records are printed using the number of labels required to print all the records.

I assume you are using New>Labels to create the labels. If you want the same text on every label insert the text in the Label text box and a LO document will be created with a single page of labels. If you want to print multiple pages then set the number of copies in the printer dialogue.

If you want to manually enter different text on each label then leave the Label text box empty and enter the required text in each label. You can only create one page. If you insert a page break as @librebel suggested it will be a blank page without any label format. Unfortunately this is the way the label creation method works. You could create a page of blank labels and save it. Then open this document to create a sheet of labels. Save it under another name, or if you don’t need to save it just print. Open the blank label file for the next page ans so on.

I use the free program provided by Avery to print Labels.
