How do I make Calc not to print the background color of cells

Some of the cells have background color.If I want the background color shown on screen, but not to be printed (Print Worksheet Without Fill Color in EXCEL), how should I do it?

AFAIK there is no option for that (except for the option that the printer driver can provide for color management)

A workaround might be to create a “print” sheet with the data but no background.

A quick way to achieve this:

• select all data
• click in the Name Box (left of formula bar) and type (eg) data▸Enter (this creates a “name” for the range)
• insert a new sheet, in A1 type =data and validate by Ctrl+Shift+Enter
