Writer documents worked fine until I ran Kaspersky protection program. After that, images were removed from my documents and I could not reload them. Kaspersky help person said it was not their software that made the problem. The message states that Java runtime environment (JRE) will not download the images to my documents and the message appears under “Macros.”
I have the same problem and my research shows that the problems apparently goes back past 2013 with Libre Office not being compatible with the Java run environment. Honestly, this is free, so I am not complaining…but is there a fix or not???
Donated to LO, but still cannot load images. Tried the Java recommendation, but it still doesn’t work. Hope there is a fix soon, or must leave LO
