Unable to access ONLINE HELP

I am new to LibreOffice. I cannot access LibreOffice Online Help without getting a Security Certificate Error from IE (screen shot below).
Is this a general issue, or am I the only one?

I still don’t have an answer to this problem, and am unhappy about ignoring the warning.

I have tried inserting “www” as suggested, but page doesn’t exist.

I just tested https://help.libreoffice.org and had no problems

  • XPprof/SP3
  • Firefox 19.0
  • Aviar Internet Security daily updated

But MS IE v8.0 showed the same message as you got.

Solution: Install Firefox…

but keep your MS IE you might need it for some MS specific sites.

Hi @petef1,

The certificate for https://help.libreoffice.org (libreoffice.org) is up to date and working for me using FF 19.0 on Ubuntu 12.04.2. Here’s the issuer of the certificate:

CN = StartCom Certification Authority
OU = Secure Digital Certificate Signing
O = StartCom Ltd.
C = IL

Are you using an old version of Windows and/or an old version of Internet Explorer? Please try downloading the latest version of Firefox and see if that solves your certificate issues.

Good luck!

That looks like Windows XP Media Center. I’m guessing that it doesn’t like that the certificate is not specifically for the subdomain. I’ve seen that before.
