White space after tables in writer

Hi all,

I am having serious difficulty with plenty of white sapce occupying the rest of the page after the table. Even if the table is 2 rows, the rest of the page is empty. The text and the other tables are moved a page down.

Checked the format, the table itself is formatted as table contents, changed it - nothing happened.

Also, pure paragraph formatting, no enters, no page breaks. However small the table is it still occupies the entire page. When i log into the ancient Word, there is no problem at all, all tables on one page.

The text looks like this:

Table

new page
Table

end

Check if insert page break is active in tables’ properties (text flow tab)

Check also the main tab in TableProperties to see if there is some unusual space below.

Thanks guys, there absolutely nothing inconspicuous in the tables. Break is off, all settings are same for all tables. Its just that two tables ‘cohabit’ on one page, and the two others demand to be on separate pages.

then please share the (possibly sanitized of sensitive info) sample (post a link to it shared somewhere like filebin.ca)

I had to simply enter all the data in existing tables in my template…
