Copy image colour

Hey guys.
Is there a way to match the blank section of a page to the colour that an image within it is i.e can I click/select a section of the image containing the colour I want the blank part of the page to be then transfer the colour to the blank section, meaning that the colour of the part of the image I selected and the blank page around it match…

I’m not sure but I think you can’t do it within one step. There are programs (image processing) with which you can find out the RGB values. It is quite easy on GIMP: Open the bitmap, try the pipette (foreground colour), right click on color manager…

In Writer you can apply the value(s) to page/background (properties > area > colors > Active::New)

You may add the color to the custom palette…

… and at the same time, LO has the pipette tool: open the image editor contour dialog - it’s next to rightmost on the toolbar there. Just not usable for what OP wants :frowning:
