USING THE COMBO LIST BOX IN LIBRE OFFICE

I am attempting to create a document that has MANY multiple choice answers. I put an item (in my case types of animals) in the “List entries” box, click ENTER and am unable to add any more items. I have added (") marks around each entry, I have added : after each entry and nothing works. I end up with a document that lists the entire list of animals and then whoever is doing the intake of the animal would have to delete all the other names. I am not using a data base. I am turning off the wizard as our intake people would only be choosing one of the names I hope to create. Although, I am hoping the person using the form can also choose OTHER and type in the name.

Help, help, help AND thank you.

Hello,

In either list box or combo box, when inserting entries in List Entries, type the first entry then “Shift” & “Enter” for the next entry & just “Enter” when done. The resulting list will look like:

"Horse";"Cow";"Pig";"Elephant"

If you want to be able to type an answer other than what the list provides, use the combo box control. The list box only allows selection of what is in the list.

Wow!! It worked. Thank you sooooooooooo much. You did a MUCH better job then the book!!
