Writer: Table: how do I make the whole table open when I load it, not just page 1?

Only the header row appears on page 2 until I go into a cell and push . Then, of course I have to delete the . I would like both pages to appear when I load the table (which is the whole file).

You asked your question as a wiki, so you’ll not be able to attach any sample file or use advanced features.

Give more details: OS and LO versions, how many rows in your table? What is in your cells: a single short paragraph or many paragraphs resulting in a large cell? Is your table larger than a page? Have you customised its properties? …

The table is a record of numerical information (medical lab results of 2 or 3 digits and sometimes 3 digits and a decimal point) and was 16 columns wide by 23 rows. The table is allowed to split across pages, but page 2 only had the header row. I tried to reproduce the behaviour with an empty 16x23 table in an A5 page, but it works as intended. 16 colums make each column very narrow. Are you in portrait or landscape orientation?

You title says Writer: do you confirm? Or is it in fact Calc?

landscape - the font is 14 (Liberation Serif), margins @ .5". The data displays correctly on Page 1
