How do I make printable return labels with an image in it?

I have a return address that I made in draw and want print it out on a label sheet that I have, Avery #5160. In writer I have found the label format but cant get the Draw design to go into it without it losing its form. The text it brought all the back to the left and changes font size and the image is overlaid on the text but in the right spot.

If anyone knows how to get the draw format onto a label sheet I would appreciate the help as I am new to LibreOffice

Thank you

There are some ways to wrap images, either inserted like in Ratslinger’s advice or inserted via clipboard. Also consider the anchor.

Helpful could be to “divide” the label by inserting a table with 2 columns.

After that you can synchronize (see Ratslinger’s screenshots).

Much luck!

Hello,

I have not done this before so bear with me if this is not exactly what you wanted.

First went to Writer & got dimensions for your #5160 labels - 2.63 X 1.00

Next to Draw. Set Page dimension to label size & all margins to o.oo

Inserted Image & text

Saved my document for safe keeping.

Still in Draw - from Menu File->Export & at dialog changed All Formats to BMP (also tried PNG)

Dialog for BMP Options came up & left all at default - selected OK to save

Now to Writer - File->New->Labels & selected Avery #5160 then clicked on New Document & got blank labels.

Clicked on upper left label. Then from Menu Insert->Image & selected the saved image from Draw. Next clicked Synchronize Labels and it produced this:

Hope this helps.
