Is there a way to use the Spreadsheet like I did when I used Microsoft Works?

I used templates in Microsoft Works for Payment schudels, figuring out what a payment would be over a period of time using a template in Works. I am 61 yrs old and am having trouble learning this new system. I am even having trouble retreiving my address book i had with works my envelopes already addressed all I had to do was print them out. How do I add new envelopes to my address book now? Do you have any Stationary templates I can use for letters to different people and Companies that I need to write to. Is there any way for me to use this system like the one i had learned to use back then?
