Auto refresh pitvot table after changes in source range

Is there a way to auto refresh pivot table after any change is made to the cells that are within selection range upon which Pivot Table is built?

EDIT:
as per request - reported as bug/feature fdo#61793

Tell you what I’ve noticed: Sometimes the tables DO refresh automatically; other times they only refresh when clicking on “Refresh” … and at yet other times I need to go into “Edit Layout” before they refresh. There doesn’t seem to be any consistency in this!

Hi @Wojtek,

The documentation on Updating Pivot Tables says the following:

If the data of the source sheet has been changed, LibreOffice recalculates the pivot table. To recalculate the table, choose Data → Pivot Table → Refresh. Do the same after you have imported an Excel pivot table into LibreOffice Calc.

Based on your explanation, it sounds like you’re experiencing a regression.

If installing the latest release doesn’t seem to fix this problem, please file a bug and provide a list of steps that can reproduce your problem. The QA team will be happy to help you track down this issue!

Please post a link to any bugs you file in a comment below using the format “fdo#123456”.

Thanks!

Note: It’s possible that you could make some kind of workaround by getting a macro to poke Data → Pivot Table → Refresh after editing a cell, but please file the bug first so we can get started on fixing the underlying problem

I’ve actually created ticket for same question there: fdo#61793 and got response, that it would be nice idea to implement. Bottomline - there is some discrepancy when it comes to functionality vs code vs documentation
