Why are the toolbar icons so big?

I am running LibreOffice 5.4.3 for Windows 10 in a laptop running a 2160 x 1440 screen resolution. However, the LibreOffice toolbar icons are way too big for the interface. I am UNABLE to attach the screenshot here because this forum requires me to own “3 points” before allowing me to do so. Please help?

Does it work if you set the Toolbar Icon Size to “Small” ?

Menu "Tools : Options... : LibreOffice : View : User Interface : Toolbar icon size"
