Bug in export as PDF?

I have a 43 Mb .odp file that becomes a 49.5 Mb PDF using “File->Export as PDF” using LibreOffice Impress 5.1.6.2

Using the same file with OpenOffice Impress 4.1.4 and the same settings I obtain a 11.8 Mb file.

The settings employed are: JPG compression, quality 90%

Any comments?
