how to create database in Librecalc

Database is not an option in my LibreOffice 5. Database not shown when I click File>New>.

This is most likely caused by Base not being installed. Linux disto releases of LibreOffice typically do not install Base which must then be installed separately. Do this from your software manager. Once installed, if you get an error about missing JRE, see my answer in this post about what to install. Usually Linux systems will include OpenJDK with the Base install to take care of the problem.
