cannot change install directory

Libre Office said there was an update. I grabbed the stable one and ran the installer. I chose custom install because my C: drive is crowded. I navigated to a folder on my D: partition, clicked ok, and saw that it STILL wants to install on C:\Program Files (x86)/LibreOffice5.

I don’t want it there.

Windows 10 64 bit
Current version LIbreOffice: 5.0.6.3

Uninstall old LO first.

It seems to read the default install directory from the Windows configuration no matter what’s specified in the installer; go into your Windows settings and set the desired download/installation directory as “default” there, kill and restart the LibreOffice installer, and it should work.
