Can I export to a simple .odt?

Wonder what I am asking?

2 situations I need a cleaner .odt

First, when I used it with (http://www.scribus.net/canvas/Scribus scribus), I hate to import a lot useless style that was not used in the .odt file.
Second, when I used “version”, I don’t want the versions information retained when exporting it but still editable.

Hmm…sounds like a Feature Request for some new export options, but it’s possible that there are already some options/features that can strip down the ODT file as requested.

@Jiero – What happens when you turn off Change-tracking in an ODT file? Is the history wiped from the file?

@jorendc – Any suggestions on slimming-down documents and easily removing unused styles?

Hmm… maybe there could be a ‘Simple/Slim File’ extension

I fixed fdo#46718 “UI: Delete multiple styles at once”. So for now it should be easier to delete multiple styles at once, instead of delete them one by one. The idea for a “cleanup” button is also mentioned in that enhancement request (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46718#c1). I’ll try to create such button, but I can’t promise anything, because the style handling is a bit to complicate to “just delete all non-default styles” (will result in crashes/loss of formatting/…).

I have no try, but maybe is possible modify directly after unzip a template file to delete all non wanted styles, and set up as default template?

This look like a fallback solution, I’d thank you it.
