Is HTML5 remote in plan? [closed]

I won't get Android/iOS device and wonder if there is remote app built upon new web technology - HTML5 so called.

There has been an effort as part of the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2013 to get the Impress Remote working on iOS. Details can be found on this blog.

EDIT: A general search of the cgit repositories for "remote" will probably catch all commits for Impress Remote, and any Android or iOS ports. That should provide a more up-to-date picture of what developments are occurring.
