how to set default dimensions to metric instead of imperial? [closed]

libre office default dimensions are in imperial units, I want to change these to metric but I cannot find how to

This is done on a per application basis. Open a file of the type you want to change units for and go to Tools | Options | LibreOffice <application> | General and set the desired measurement unit.
