page offset higher than the number of pages yields empty fields

Hi, setting the offset for the page field higher than or equal to the page count of the document shows no number in the number field. Is this a wished behavior or a bug, please? Can I go around it somehow, please? M

Better avoid using page offsets. If you need your document to, say, start at page 5 instead of page 1, go to the very first paragraph on your document → right click → Paragraph → Text Flow tab → under Breaks check Insert / Page style / Page number → select the page number

You can do this on a paragraph style level too, use it to change page styles, etc.
