There is neither a subscription that might expire nor does LibO stop working due to another built-in effect.
In what way did you try to open one of the LibO documents? What file extension (.odt, .ods, …)?
What happend when you tried? Was there a system blackout recently?
there is a common problem, for me at least, I go into Task Manager and kill any Libre events still hanging about. Libre then starts normally - until the next time.
When it fails for you is it generating crash reports?

This could be due to an update of your anti-virus (check that it does not prevent by default access to these folders, or that it does not now need to “allow” the execution of LibreOffice, etc. .)
