How do I add Favourite locations to the open file dialogue box?

On the open file screen there is a panel with My Documents at the top, and Documents three times below. It says you can add favourite locations to this panel, but there is no way I can find of doing so. Anybody managed it?

Hello @ChristopherJ,

To be precise, you are referring the LibreOffice Open/Save dialogs rather than the System’s Open/Save dialogs.

The 3 “Documents” items below “My Documents” are copies of the “My Documents” item, that were created by clicking on the + button ( 3 times ). They can be safely deleted by selecting them, and then clicking on the – button.

To add a new favourite location to the panel, first browse to that location in the listbox on the right ( for example browse to Desktop ), and then click on the + button.

Hope this helps,
lib

Thank you very much - it worked. You could put this information on the help page.
