Recently downloaded Libreoffice 5.3.7.2 and uninstalled Open Office 3. I open it by right clicking and then hovering over New. I see Text Document (just a notepad), but no spreadsheet or document writing option. My solutions are . . ? Thanks
If you “Downloaded LibreOffice and uninstalled OpenOffice”, then you may need to install the downloaded LibreOffice. Also, if you had installed LibreOffice before uninstalling OpenOffice, then uninstall could have removed the elements that should have been under New (because OpenOffice and LibreOffice use the same elements there). So you might need to reinstall to get those.
