5.4.4.2 dictionary non-functional

Downloaded newest version of writer, and after a week of using it, spellchecker stopped working. Checked for dictionary--and it was already loaded including dictionaries I do not want. Unable to remove unwanted dictionaries. I unchecked and rechecked Hunspell spellchecker--no change. Sigh.

It usually helps to reset your user profile. See https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/F... - important: rename the folder, don't delete it. If this doesn't help, try https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum... (Tutorial Spell check and Language configuration).
