drop down menus are missing in LibreOffice

Since I started using a Dell laptop with 3840x2160 resolution, I have not seen the drop down menus in LibreOffice. The row of drop down choices is occupied by the next row of icons and all rows below have shifted up one row. The interesting and frustrating aspect is that the mouse recognizes the original positions. If I click the “New” icon I get the drop down content of “File”. In Calc if I click the “B3” cell, the “B2” cell is highlighted. I have tried several lower display resolutions to no success. I am in Windows 10. Pop up menus are drawn properly. What can I do. This is close to unworkable here and I have had this problem with several versions, including 5.4.4.2 (x64)

Could you try to disable OpenGL in view options?

SOLVED. Disabling OpenGL solved this problem. Thanks Mike.
