I am only interested in the Base side. Is there a way to filter out all others and just see Q & A for Base?

You can filter items by selecting Tag(s). If not signed in, select tag from right column or from posted question. The screen will refresh with questions only tagged as such. When signed in, you can set your filtering using Interesting Tags:
You then have choices for the tagged items to be shown. For Base you may want to consider other Tags than simply Base.
Also, if you type some interested words into the “Search or ask your question” editfield at the top of the window, then you get a list of questions containing those words in the question title.
