I am having trouble with FREQUENCY in Calc. For example, my data have five measurements between 116 and 116.99, yet FREQUENCY calculates zero occurrences for "116" and five for "117". This is not what I expected from my experience in engineering and math. Have I specified the ranges incorrectly? Thanks for any help.

See the function in help. I am sure that your "116" is actually 116.00..01 or something.

Yes, I specified bin values (not sure what you call them) of 115, 116, 117, etc., and expected that all five of the measurements between 116.0 and 116.99 would be collected or counted in the bin called "116". That did not happen and I don't understand why. Should have mentioned that I am using LO v5.4.4.

Thanks, Mike, the help link that you gave explains what happened. FREQUENCY counts the values that are equal to or less than the bin values, rather than equal to or greater than (but less than the next bin value) that I had expected. This will definitely affect my stats. Thanks for your help.
