Native OBCD driver 64 bit

In the about page on the Libreoffice web site for Base it mentions "native-support drivers for some of the most-widely employed multi-user database engines: MySQL/MariaDB" but the only thing I can find is ODBC/JDBC drivers. Some of the databases I am connecting to are quite large and ODBC/JDBC crashes and is VERY slow. I usually write SQL directly using HeidiSQL, but would like to be able to use a gui for others on my team. Is there a native connection directly to MySQL/MariaDB 64 bit - Libre office 64 bit?

Libreoffice 6.0.0.3 OS- Windows 10 - MariaDB 10.2

Hello,

The native connector (v1.2 extension) can be found on this post - MySQL Driver. I use this daily with MySQL & LO on Mint 18.3 and have tested it with MariaDB & LO on Debian. It states it works with Windows but haven't tried.

Have tried earlier versions found elsewhere (v1.0) which never worked for me.

Have also tried both JDBC & ODBC and each seem to work fine albeit a bit slower than the SDBC connector.
