As of this morning the standard sort option for librecalc is only letting me sort by row with no option for sorting by column, any ideas?

Sudden changes of software behaviour may be caused by preceding system crashes/blackouts. Was there a recent one?
Try to carefully reset your user profile. It may be corrupted.
