Loosing page style when saving / reopening document, jumps back to Default

In a *odm document (main document with sub documents), I have a Default page style with a header and a footer. I created a new page style without header or footer.

When I apply the new style (or even the “First Page” style) to the first page, the header and footer on that page disappear (as intended). However when I save, close and reopen the document, the page style is reset to Default. This happens with my own page style and with the “First Page” style as well.

Any suggestions of what may be done to preserve the page style?

Many thanx in advance!

What file format do you use to save?

It’s an *.odm document, a main document with sub documents. The sub documents are *.odt files, but the page style is defined in the main document.

Maybe taken a look to Work with master documents can help.
