In my previous bas programs, I used some of the functions which were available in a query.
Now since I lost those programs I have decided to start again with base. I have a query where I want to extract the highest temperature from a list etc, using what I thought was the MAX function, but when I want to select a function, from the drop down box, there are no functions. I don’t understand why they were available before but not now in a new base file.
@Avvy65 What LO version are you using? I don’t see a problem in v5.4.5.1 or a daily build of v6.1.0. It is also not clear on what is meant by ‘…extract the highest temperature from a list …’ as I would think you meant from a table. Can you post a sample DB (no personal or confidential info)?
Thanks for the reply, but it doesn’t really matter now a I have just gone back to using LO Calc which will be good enough for my needs now. Thanks for the reply anyways.
