How do you get libreoffice to fill in these boxes automatically?

Noob here.

How do you get libreoffice to fill in these boxes automatically?

The “points” box is “1” and feedback “Correct!” and “Incorrect”.

Image of what I’m talking about.

I have 100 boxes like that.

I need to paste that same information in all the boxes.

Also I need 120 questions instead of 100.

I never used microsoft or open office before.

I asked how to mass paste in xlsx without messing it up.

I never used office apps before but I figured it out.

  1. copy paste everything into a new document
  2. “delete contents” formatting, etc.
  3. edit without format crap in the way
  4. copy paste text and numbers into original document

Some things I didn’t figure out;

  1. count every 20 rows from 100 to 120
  2. select every 20 rows and change row height
  3. make the cell boarders less thick after saving

So I just did it manually.

I know I don’t need advice anymore I just wanted to tell everyone.

@user9733 – Thanks for the update.

Hi @user9733,

Sounds like you’ve got quite a task here.

I have 100 boxes like that.

I need to paste that same information in all the boxes.

Also I need 120 questions instead of 100.

One possibility would be to write a macro, but you mention that you have no experience with Microsoft, OpenOffice, or (presumably) LibreOffice, so that might be a bit too complicated.

Given that you have no experience with the office suite, I suggest that you start here:

Try reading the LO 4.0 “Getting Started” Guide. That will provide a good first step towards understanding LibreOffice. After that, we can work on providing some info about macros.

Hi @qubit1

A macro was suggested but I can not into programming.

Yes, I never used libre or any office either.

Thanks for the reading material.

Thank you for responding.
