Select/change text in a certain font style? (writer)

Hi, I want to select a paragraph/section of text containing mixed text styles, then “filter”/highlight only text of a certain style from that section.
Kind of like the “find & replace” function except searching for a text style rather than a specific word or phrase.

Is this possible and if so how?

The Find&Replace dialog can be used to find/replace a specific text format or paragraph style in your Writer document.

For finding/replacing a specific text format:

1. Expand the Find&Replace dialog, by clicking on Other Options;
2. Place the text cursor inside the textbox “Find”, then click on the button Format...;
3. In the dialog that pops up, specify the Text Format to search for, and click “OK”;
4. Place the text cursor inside the textbox “Replace”, then click on the button Format...;
5. In the dialog that pops up, specify the Text Format for replacing, and click “OK”;
6. Back in the Find&Replace dialog, click on the button Replace All.

For finding/replacing specific paragraph styles:

1. Expand the Find&Replace dialog, by clicking on Other Options;
2. Check the checkbox Paragraph Styles;
3. In the listbox “Find”, select the Paragraph Style to search for;
4. In the listbox “Replace”, select the Paragraph Style for replacing;
5. Cick on the button Replace All.
