Hi,
I would like to take notes about a Youtube video in a Writer document, without having to switch screens all the time.
Sometimes I would also like to work on multiple LibreOffice docs at the same time, without switching windows (having all the docs open in one window).
Is this possible somehow?
PLEASE tell us what operating system you are using. Each of Window, Mac OSX, and various flavours of Linux have different utilities for accomplishing them. What is recommended is specific to the OS, however, So – what are you using?

Really sorry foer wasting your time a bit, but I just tried the system suggested below ( Hold Windows key (flying flag thing) and the right or left arrow key ) and it worked!
If you use Win10, you can use Snap Assist. Hold Windows key (flying flag thing) and the right or left arrow key. One document will “snap” to the side of the arrow you clicked (if you used left, it goes to the left) and the other open windows will appear on the other side for you to choose. You can also put up more.
There’s a lot of how-tos about it out there. I just found out about it a few weeks ago and use it often. There is also Taskview but that’s only good if you have a bunch of windows and some are for one project and some are for another. Otherwise, kinda useless since you can’t customize it further.

@Paola.Fiorentini - You mark the answer as correct by clicking the little round “checkmark” icon under the up/down arrows on the upper left. The up/down arrows are meant to indicate usefulness (or not!), so it’s still good that you “clicked up” (so to speak!).

Would you know how I can adjust character size in the 2-docs-in-one-window so I can read them both at the same time without having to run right and left?
@paola-elisa Either from Menu bar, View - Zoom - set-zoom-factor, or use the “magnification slider” in the right end of the bottom “status bar” in the LibO window.
Short answer: no. Long answer: you can have the browser and Writer windows open side by side, with customized sizes. You can have several Writer windows side by side as well, but the user interface will take a lot of space. Having several documents open in a single application window was possible in the past in MS DOS and early versions of Windows but was abandoned later.

I am not sure whether the user interface takes a lot of space, because I’m afraid I don’t know what user interface and a lot of space mean.
