Beginner Cross Table Multiplication

Hello,
I don’t have much experience with Libre and have hit a roadblock. I am setting up an estimating spreadsheet in which the rows are the rooms of a project and the columns are the objects. At the bottom of my spreadsheet is a row with the total quantity of the item in each column followed by a row with the unit cost and another with the total cost (total qty* the value in the unit cost cell). The last column of the table is the total cost for the project. Where I am having a problem is coming up with a column for the total cost of each room :sum of (product of the value of each cell in the row and the unit cost in the same column) for the entire row.

Originally I was going to do the math on a separate sheet, referencing the appropriate cells however the size of the spreadsheet is not fixed, it will grow in rows & columns depending on the size of the project, I am dealing with this by inserting new columns into the field.

Thanks.

Try the SUMPRODUCT function. Multiplies the values in two arrays and adds them together.

Perfect, Thanks!
