can your icon be more colorful, instead of just a blank page?

please make it colorful

What’s the complaint? My toolbar icons have colors. Then which LO version, which OS?

Have you tried Tools>Options,LibreOffice>Customization where you can choose another theme?

If it’s a matter of desktop icons, it is dependent on the OS.

Finally, if its a feature request, file it in bugzilla, off topic here.

I understand your point, ajlittoz, but not everyone wants to install themes just to change the color of one icon. Further to Rich777’s request, I run LO5 on Ubuntu Linux and the icon for LO (the hub or opening screen, not the individual applications in LO) is a very dull dark gray on light gray. I frequently mistake it for the gedit text editor icon. Considering the power of LO, a more colorful and lively icon would definitely be more suitable, in my opinion.

@ve3oat: my point was not a criticism on the question but against lack of description of the issue. It can be interpreted in many ways and I tried to address some. Personally, I never use the “hub” and have no idea of its look-and-feel. I prefer a shortcut link in the main OS menu or in the preferred apps. There are many workflows and a more elaborate description is required to get correct suggestions and answers.

@ajlittoz: Point taken. My comment was intended to serve as a ‘description by example’ (main icon for LO5 on Ubuntu) of what the Original Poster was probably complaining about. But none of this is a solution to the problem. Perhaps the OP could tell us if he has tried your suggestion and if the result is satisfactory.
