When I double-click the file name in my document folder of an .rtf file which has been written with the LibreOffice Writer version 5.4.6 , the file does not open any more. Why?
This problem is usually OS-specific: double-click references an OS database linking extension and application. What is your OS? Have you checked the OS association list?
In my Fedora Linux/KDE, .rtf is bound to KWrite, Okteta, LO Write, Okular in this order. Instead of double-clicking, I can right-click and choose from the list or select any other application.
