Hello All,
My old Windows 7 machine finally gave up…I just got a new Windows 10 64-bit computer. Now when I go to Base it tells me a Java JRE can’t be found… I went to the Java site and installed the latest version of Java yet Base still cannot find Java…
Can someone help me solve this problem? I would really appreciate it. I’ve spent months and months building my database and now I can’t use it… Very frustrating.

Libreoffice and Java need to be both 32 or 64 bits or they can’t work together.
Thanks for the response… Both are 64-bit… I made sure of that when I installed Java…
You got me thinking…
Even though I installed the 64-bit version after thinking on your suggestion for a while I went and checked where Java was installed… It went into the 32-bit programs folder…well DUH…no wonder Base couldn’t find it… I uninstalled Java and reinstalled, this time ticking the change folder radio button, making sure it went to the 64-bit programs folder and BOOM…it works now…
