I tried to type quote marks around sentences and they appeared on the bottom of the word and not the top. Also faced the wrong direction. And the squiggly line that appears under a word as you type indicating an error did not appear.
@Emaline, Can you edit your question and paste a sample word with the wrong quote marks?
Have you looked at Tools - Autocorrect - AutoCorrect Options… - Localized Options tab?
