I can open the documents I have on excel but can’t write or delete anything on them. I have viewed the YouTube video going through the tools menu on libre and completed the steps but when I open the excel document I still can’t write or delete.
Seems odd. I open and edit Excel docs all the time. What operating system are you on, what version of Excel are the spreadsheets in, and what version of LO are you using?

Hmmmm…I’m not a Windows user, but I can’t imagine why you can’t edit those files. Makes no sense to me, but maybe a Windows person will see this and comment. You might try downloading the most recent version of LO, which is 6.0.3.2
Are there any macros or security features in them?
