Is adding Microsoft word, onto a computer with Libre Office possible and safe?

I need to do a public power point presentation. To do this I wish to add Microsoft Word onto my computer, although I already have Libre office.

I don not wish to block or damage or lose my existing Libre files, or the ability to work in these.

Is it safe to import Microsoft as well?

Yes, of course it is. Just keep in mind that the install procedure will link MS Office files to MS Office instead of Libre. Installing or uninstalling software never deletes private files (unless they have been saved in application folders.
