In Base Reports what does the ‘Start new column’ do and/or how is it used?
(To find this, click on the Report navigator, then double click ‘Groups’ to open, then select any child under Groups, (i.e. a specific sorting group section name), then right click it to open Properties, and finally look in the General tab for the ‘Start new column’.)
Please specify where this is located in Base Reports.

It appears Start new column and Reset page number on pointed to section do not do anything. It may have had intention to do so originally but never implemented. Both are missing on Sorting and Grouping which is related. Any reasonable documentation is missing and the product has been stagnant for a very long time.
