calc comments line

Have a workbook with several sheets and they are cross referenced with one another.

The main is sheet1 and has eight columns. I want to insert a row for comments/instructions:
I need the newly inserted row merged across for the comments/instructions
This could be several lines of text
I entered a new row and turned on WRAP
I entered several lines of text
It looks great until I hit the enter key
The row height does not adjust and I end up with only one line of text, instead on three lines.

What do I need to do to get the ROW HEIGHT to adjust???

I found the answer. For the comments/instruction line, I needed to set the the row height to “optimal”

That solved the problem.
