Good afternoon. I have a slide show set up to change slide every 5 seconds and loop back to the beginning once complete.

What I would like to know and can't find, is how do I pause the slide show on a particular slide and then resume?

I had thought it was the space bar but this just progresses to the next slide

Impress does not seem to have the "S" keyboard command as Powerpoint does. I guess this could be a candidate for an enhancement.

However, you can accomplish a "work-around" by right-clicking on the slide (pick a convenient spot). This brings up a control menu and pauses the presentation until you take an action or just click away from the menu.

You can't pause a presentation, but you can set the slides to change on mouse click.
