I am trying to centralize the bibliographic database for my company, but I am having issues. I tried copying the LO files from the ...\LibreOffice\3\user\database directory to the server and then pointing to the new location, but it seems always to return to the local version. Tried removing the local files and then nothing worked. The documentation for this is fairly scanty. Any help appreciated.

What database are you using? The embedded database can't be shared because is a packed file, and when is open then all data is in the memory of the computer.
