I have an important file with lots in info in tabs and one tab with a chart - after saving it last night it only opens with a chart and no way of accessing my tabs
please help!
Is it possible that when you saved the file, you actually saved only a selected part of the file (the chart, perhaps), using the usual name for the whole file? Use your file manager to view the files with the same or similar names (the difference might be in the extension) and see if you can recover the whole document instead of just the saved chart.
It is possible that you moved the Sheet (if by tab you mean Sheet) that contained the chart to a new Calc Document and then saved the new Document. If the new file overwritten the original (a.k.a. you answered ok when asked to overwrite) then the original is probably is lost.
