Hello, Please help me today I updated my window it from windows 7 to 10 it was successfully updated but after few minutes it is showing an error “Application Error 0xc0000142” why this happened? Please suggest the solution to remove this. Thanks
Updating from Windows 7 to Windows 10 probably caused damage to installed programs - that’s what the error message is about, you can google for it and you will find many issues with all kinds of programs. Download the latest (stable) version of Libre and install it. It runs happily on my Windows 10 PC, so it’s not a problem of LibreOffice.
There are several reasons which can cause this error in your computer. One of these is a corrupted or missing system file. You may run the System File Checker to identify and troubleshoot this error. Here are some steps:
- From Start, search for msconfig
- Select System Configuration from the
search results. - On the Services tab of the System
Configuration dialog box, tap or
click to select the Hide all
Microsoft services check box, and
then tap or click Disable all. - On the Startup tab of the System
Configuration dialog box, tap or
click Open Task Manager. - On the Startup tab in Task Manager,
for each startup item, select the
item and then click Disable. - Close Task Manager.
