"Press Quality" for Export as PDF in Writer [closed]
I have an ODT document that I am supposed to turn in as a PDF "saved with the Press Quality setting". There is nothing in the Export as PDF dialog that looks like Press Quality. I tried reading about it, and I have a suspicion this refers to image compression and color schemes. I have no images in the document and no colors — it's just a usual black-and-white text.
What to do? Does the default output of Export as PDF qualify as Press Quality in this case? If no, can I somehow ensure it is Press Quality?
Thank you!
Look at this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PDF#Ver... and ask your printery which version is needed.
The English version of Wikipedia does not have this section, the German does, but in any case the question is not about various PDF versions, it's about compression. Never mind though, as the "printery" said that for a PDF with no images this did not matter, the text would be rendered at the maximal quality anyway. Unless someone is willing to share more info about Press Quality and what it means for LibreOffice specifically, this question can be closed.
I hope someone will.
